Wow, this books has definetly left me with my heart racing and with an intrigue to read more from this author.

I was very impressed and drawn in by the first impression and was so excited to read the full novel, and it didn't disappoint.

From the very start, the book is an intriguing puzzle. It follows the journey of SEO Agent Elisabeth from her landing in France to her escape and survival in Portugal, the City of Spies and where no one appears to be who they say they are. From the beginning I instantly warmed to Elisabeth's character and Timon has done an amazing job of bringing her to life.

Although, I enjoyed the book as a whole I did find the volume of characters a little muddling and a little overwhelming. However, the character list provided at the front was a useful point of reference throughout.

I have always been a fan of this genre and this book was very different to others I have read. Before reading, I was not aware of Portugal's neutral stance during WW2 and the role of spies and SEO agents. It has been a truly eye opening read and provided a great starting point to go onto learning more. I'm also looking forward to see how Elisabeth's story unfolds on the future.
