Elizabeth de Mornay works undercover in Paris as an SOE but her role is uncovered and she has to flee the city.
With the Gestapo in hot pursuit she runs to Portugal where she takes on the persona of a French Widow called Solange.
But she is getting too close to the truth and is in terrible danger as someone knows who she is and watching for her to make a mistake.
She will need to think and act fast or Miz Verin will end up very dead!
This was such a good read and I loved that the story was mixed in with true events as women really were used in wartime as operatives.
I heard there is going to be a sequel which I am eagerly awaiting.
