I'm a big fan of the Bletchley Circle and love a good espionage story. I liked that the protagonist was female for a change in this genre. However, I felt like it was a bit over-glamourised. Soiree's and glad rags seemed to make the story overly feminine - though I appreciate that it is told from the perspective of a female spy in the 1940s.
I enjoyed the character development of Elisabeth, the lead character and particularly liked that there are elements of her character that are never revealed and leave us guessing.
Some of the story seems a little far fetched. It was a relatively easy read though at times, I found myself getting confused with who the characters were (there are a lot of characters; grateful for the character list).
