This was such an enjoyable read! I am a huge fan of World War Two books and this was just action packed from beginning to end.
It follows an English secret agent operative as her cover is compromised in France and she is taken to Portugal where she is set the task of finding out what the Germans are planning. I found myself very engrossed in the story, some of the chapters are left on a bit of a cliffhanger, so you have to read on to find out what happens! The only thing that confused me a little was keeping track of who was who, there are code names and aliases galore, but I wouldn't expect anything less when reading a book about spies. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fast paced historical fiction novel.
