This book is as my title suggests a nice read. It did start off as what I thought would not be the kind of book I enjoy.
Set in mid-war France while Nazi’s are about. I wasn’t sure it was my cup of tea but reading on it became quite interesting and even I would say enjoyable.
It wasn’t what I expected but pleasant. The writing style was really nice and flowed with ease. It didn’t seem forced when things happened. The plot is developed nicely and the characters you can just imagine. The scenes set well and the little details are really nice.
The first look was one that I quite enjoyed and would read the rest of the book. There is excitement but also seems to be the possibility of some romance in amounts the action.
This first look was one starting off I didn’t think I would like but ended up sad that it came to an end.
Definitely worth the read for anyone.
