This was an interesting take of a woman's role during wartime in what was essentially at that time a man's world.
Elizabeth de Mornay is in Paris, she is an SOE operative but she is discovered and she has to leave before the Gestapo find her.
She relocates to Lisbon, Portugal where she takes on the persona of a widow of French origin, Solange Verin.
But yet again she is found out and this time someone is watching her very closely.
She has to be very careful as she is in a lot of danger.
Is her number up this time or can she escape the clutches of the villains again?
Will her luck finally run out?
I really enjoyed the character of Solange / Elizabeth it was a really refreshing story with an exciting plot.
