I'm happy to read an opening chapter in verse, but not a whole book. It lacks depth and is too curt a style of writing for me. I much prefer getting deeper into a story and the characters. If you like this style, this book may be for you. The subject is likely to be something that I would prefer to read in a more traditional style.
