Promising Plot...
The title 'Clap When You Land' was what pulled me in instantly. There was just something about it that stuck with me as soon as I read those four words alone. I wasn't overly sold on the cover, but that's just me!
However, when I saw the sneak peek was written in verse, I zoned out. I love poetry books, I love poetry - but I don't enjoy reading fiction in a poetic or lyrical form. It's just a personal thing, so I'm sure many others would enjoy this. I enjoy verse-writing in small doses, but nothing more.
That being said, I am a little disappointed that I was unable to get along with the writing style because the plot sounds very promising - with a perfect mixture of heartbreak and darkness.
