I am really big fan of Acevedos writing and With The Fire on High was my favourite YA book last year.
My first impression is that it sounds powerful and passionate, very much what I expect from Acevedos stories. I love stories that make us think about real life issues such as grief, family and love so I have no doubt I will enjoy this book. The cover looks really eye catching and colourful!
