The illustrated style of the cover immediately indicated that this book wasn't aimed at me. I am not it's target audience, but I am always willing to step outside my comfort zone and give a book a try. The verse format inside wasn't at all what I was expecting, and it was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately the extract only confirmed that this isn't one for me, but I do think it is written well and will be well received.
