From the description of this book it sounded like a really gripping and new idea for a story. A plane crash leaves two girls grieving in separate countries for the same man, that they both called Papi, each not knowing the other existed.
The story is told from the perspective of both girls in turn and is written in verse. I found this style of writing hard to get into, but found the longer I spent reading it the more I got used to it. I also found it hard to distinguish between the two girls for the first half of the book and often lost track of who was narrating.
The other aspect of the writing I struggled with was the intermittent use of phrases and dialect in another language - which was not translated to English so I have no idea what was said.
I would have liked the relationship between the two girls to have been explored a bit further and felt that some depth was perhaps lacking, but it was quite a pleasant read overall.
