Previously, i had already heard great things about this book, and therefore began reading with high expectations. Fortunately, this book met every one of those expectations. Firstly, the writing style is unlike one i have ever come across. The short "verses" mean that the story is told in a more poetic way and this adds to the magic of the book. In terms of plot, the book clearly explores difficult but extremely important issues and circumstances. I really really loved the opening of the book, and the imagery created about mud! It was beautiful, and really made me think, especially about the deeper meanings of it adn what it was really trying to say. Overall, i would definitely recommend thsi book, particularly to those who want to perhaps challenge themselves with the writing style but also the concepts. I am looking forward to more!
