I loved this book it was a delightful fast-paced story about family and truth. I loved how this book was written in a series of poems it made the book a quick read with a lot depth. The writing is so delicate and beautifully written I really loved the style. I loved the character of Camino and her interesting backstory, I loved how it was set between the Dominican Republic the setting was so richly described. Elizabeth always uses such great representation LGBT+ and POC. The story and plot was so intricately written and well-developed I loved the mystery about their father and family secrets. I feel as if the book was expertly written and I would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a fast read with a detailed and wonderful story. I would recommend for ages 14+ as it deals with some stronger themes, I also feel that to could be an enjoyable read for adults also.
