Clap When You Land is the beautifully written story of Camino and Yahaira two sisters who share the same father but have never met, when their father dies in a plane crash on his way to see Camino for the summer. Both sisters share a similar story while they are across the world from each other.
This book was written in prose which helped the story flow beautifully and made the words feel so much more powerful, paired with the audiobook, this made for a very powerful and gripping story which I managed to read within twenty-four hours, unfortunately due to the prose style of writing, the amount of detail that the author can go into is limited in order to adhere to the poetic style, which means for me personally that it took longer to connect to the characters.
