I was so dissapointed by this read, I had so much hope for this as I love books written in verse and Ive loved Elizabeth acevedos work in the past but this book did not hit the mark for me.
I found the story to drag and be very boring to me. I had no emotional connection to the characters and I didn't think they displayed the accurate reaction for the things that happened in the story, they acted selfishly and only cared about themselves and it made it unbelievably difficult to read about those characters.
The writing style was fine but did at times feel chunky and staggered without a good flow which ruined my enjoyment further.
Overall dissapointing for me but still excited for the authors future work!
