I will liked the cover on this book and feel that it is very eye catching, I would pick it up if I saw it in a shop.
This is not my usual type of book at all and it was very different reading experience for me! This was read as part of a book club, and I probably never would have chose a verse book
All that aside, I very much enjoyed reading this book as it was unique for me reading a book thats written in verse. However I’m not sure that I would necessarily opt to read if it was not a chosen read for me.
Its a novel about grief and family and how the death of their father brings two sisters who didn’t know of each other’s existence.
This bond between the sisters grows throughout the book which is lovely to see!
The book tackled sensitive issues such as sexual assault.
I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to have a break from their usual genre and try something new
