My only complaint was that I wanted the sisters to meet sooner because I wanted more of their interactions. I loved this book and the writing style, and there are some incredibly memorable and heart-warming chapters. Acevado has a incredibly unique writing style that had me hooked, I read most of the book in two days (or around two days I don't remember exactly).
The secondary characters were awesome, too, like Tia, for example, and despite her faults, I did like the mother - I don't remember her name. I thought this book was very well written and I'll definitely be picking up more books from this author in the future.
