HOW..... does Elizabeth Acevedo do it???........ this woman never fails to write such incredible characters and experience that comfort so many people. Your passion for writing is so evident- I am in love!!! she never fails to write books that make people feel seen and valued. I cried and cried then cried some more continuously for the last pages of the book and I honestly can’t talk about it for too long without sobbing again.....:’’’’) im fine im fine im fine. Poetry is not my go-to genre but somehow I’ve gotten so invested in the story which really surprised me. And now here we are. I never wanted it to end, I want to follow these characters for the rest of my life and see where they end up I AM CRYING. I’ll never stop recommending this book to people, so please please put this on your TBR if you haven’t already, I promise you YOU WILL LoOoovEeee It!!!!!
