I thought that the concept of this book was really good but I just couldn’t get into it and it wasn’t was hoping it would be. I also didn’t like the writing style of this book l, I’m not sure if it’s because it was written in verse, but this book disappointed me and I couldn’t get into it or relate to the characters.
This book is about a father who is living a double life between two families, and then one summer when he is flying to see one of his daughters his plane crashed and he died. One of the daughters was poor and lived with her aunt, whilst the other daughter was rich and lived with her mum. The rich daughters mum refused to give money to the poor daughter to help her and tried to stop her daughter seeing the other girl. The rich daughter who lives in America goes to visit her sister and the story discovers their new relationship and the comparison between their lives.
