I can't praise Acevedo enough! This was such a delightful book to read, from the way it was written and the way it makes you pause and reflect. This story is so moving and heartfelt, dealing with grief, loss and having your world altered due to death and family secrets.
The story deals with the sudden demise of a father in a plane crash and this book explores a girl's journey of her grieving process and how she discovers some of the most painful secrets her family but also finding something precious which would complete her in the end.
There's another girl who's going through the same road as hers in another part of the world.
This story is so painful but wholesome and hopeful.
