I had never read a book in prose before so was a bit unsure how easy I would find to read and if I would be able to follow the story but I have to say it actually had me hooked more! I could not put this book down! I loved the dynamics between the 2 girls and how their story unfolded, the dilemmas they contended with and the heartbreak of loosing their father.
The prose style of writing gave you the impression the book was shorter than it was as I actually found when I finished the book wanting more of their story. Although I did find the ending beautiful and resolved, I just wanted to carry on following these 2 girls as they navigated the rest of their life together. I hope there is another one!
