This book surprised me as on first impressions I didn’t know if I would enjoy it being non typical of what I would generally go for however that is why you shouldn’t judge a book by the cover.
I loved the way the characters were written with their lives totally separate and that the tragic passing of Papi was the catalyst to their meeting albeit with totally different intentions. I honestly thought when YaYa found the paperwork she was aware of a sister then but realised later on that this was not the case so that was also a good twist. It’s interesting that the characters are so similar but also very different and I liked the way that the characters complimented each other. El Cera was interesting and the dark side of this story. I did find him a little confusing and didn’t really fully understand his motives towards Camino. I really did enjoy this book and read most in one day. Highly recommend genuinely couldn’t put it down. There was a great deal of familiarity with DR which showed through In this book too which I liked.
