"In memory of the lives lost
on American Airlines flight 587"

Right off the bat, I knew this book was nothing like others that have claimed to have said that they write books.

This 'book' is not a book at all but the product of suffering and trauma in the form of pages with words on them that could describe everything that no one speaks of.

The unique format of short, clipped sentences yet full of clever allegories and metaphors have given readers access to the intimate mind of Camino who's father, "her hero," has died in a plane crash.

The short, clipped sentences yet full of sorrowful words and heart-clenching 'Mud' informs the reader of words not spoken by those victim of plane accidents.

We, as fortunate readers, are able to read these unspoken words and hopefully, this book will be able to teach us of the trauma that we are fortunate to not have gone through but able to sympathise with, creating empathetic readers that the world is in need of today.
