I had never read a book written in verse before and was unsure what to expect or if it would be for me. I am so glad I decided to step outside my comfort zone and give this one a go.
Clap when you land is ultimately a story about familial relationships and what happens when those change. We follow two girls who lose a father but find each other having not known the other existed before the death of the father.
It is heartbreaking, the way grief is covered is both beautiful and horrible.at the same time it is heartwarming, the way the two sisters come together and become close and find away to forgive their fathers double life.
I will be rereading this asap and have purchased the rest of this authors books
