I'd like first say that I love the title. "Clap When You Land' already starts to pull me in and sounds so intriguing. I also love the cover. The colors choose for the background colors give such a good pop of color from behind the girls. No to mention, the diversity in this book is also amazing. The characters are wonderfully written and I feel a real connection with them.
The story explains the story of two girls, who's just father passed in a plane crash while they are on opposite sides of the world. Now the two are forced to go on with life like they never have before.This book is definitely a story of grief, but love as well.
I believe that this book should be on everyones reading list, for not only its beauty, but how it openly discusses the tragedy in life. But, it also brings up the fact that we are all different and experience situations in different ways.
