I have read Elizabeth Acevedo before and was excited to.pick up another of her books really.enjoyed this one too enjoyed the format and I liked hearing from the two perspectives and it gave a good plot surrounding the man they both saw as their father. Gave us a different perspective of how one situation can effect two separate families without giving us bias towards either character.
Very fast read due to the layout but has good content and is a really good padded out story. I thought it was a interesting plot and interesting to hear it from the perspectives of the daughters and how they feel towards each other after hearing each other exist. Would have been interesting to hear more from their father but maybe it would have given away too much and it fit better to his mystery that we didnt here more from.him before he died.
