This excerpt surprised me a bit. I’m must say that reading a book written in verses quite disturbs me. I thought it was a problem of printing but it appears that it's not. The writing is already quite emotional, so I don’t think verses were needed here. It was very moving, and I thinks it was just the beginning of it.

These first chapters were repetitive because the two sisters learn their father’s death and we had each other’s point of view. So nothing much happened so far but I’m looking forward to reading this story that I foretell to be beautiful.
The story is different from what I read usually, sadder and more grown-up maybe. What's going to be really interesting is the girl empowerment thing (I think) and the meeting and bonding of the two sisters

So to conclude I’m interested in this book because of the dual vantage point, but I think the verses would make me like this book a little less.
