This was a really get read that was very original and different to most books with its writing style and way it was set out with a poem style which makes the story in points much more powerful.
The story is set out in the Dominican Republic and New York with 2 daughters growing up in each area who don’t know about each other until their father dies in a plane crash. It is a very moving story about love and loss and how grief can also bring people together.
I would highly recommend this book after reading as I found myself quickly becoming engrossed in the story of Camino and Yaharia and becoming invested in their stories. I read this novel in a couple of days due to the story being so enjoyable I was sad when it came to an end!
