Hearing 2 different people voice the 2 man in characters was beautiful. The passion I felt from both throughout was really something different. It really made me sit up and take notice.
The style of writing used in the book made the story really hit home. Such a tragic tale of the loss of a parent along side the discovery that he was living 2 separate lives. Watching the story develop and seeing how the different families lived and survived without him for different parts of the year was incredible.
From the Dominican Republic where life was rough and money was hard to come by to New York where they are living a life of luxury, the love felt for the father is equal.
