I was kindly gifted this book by one of my dearest friends, who never stopped trying to get me to read it! Initially, I was very intrigued by the dual perspectives and the gripping start- I couldn't put it down! The two strangers met after a plan crash united them- inspired by the real events of the American Airways crash. The main hook of the book was the fact that both of the girls fathers had passed in this crash, little did they know he was the same man and had two separate lives.

It was very interesting finding out about the girls lives and how they would react to this secret. As they were, in some ways, the complete opposites of each other in their upbringing.

The author did an amazing job of portraying the emotions felt with grief and I feel like this book would be very comporting to those whose parents have passed.

Overall, I would recommend this book to all! It has amazing representation of pocs and also has a happy ending!
