I was intrigued by the style of this, the subject and the language all put me out of my comfort zone in that this is very different to the type and style of book I would normally choose to read. The book is written in verse and this in itself is very unusual; I enjoyed it and found it thoughtful and relaxing in its style to read this way. You could ponder over the pages and give more thought to the words used. The story is about a father who is due to return on a flight, to visit his daughter yet there is an accident and he doesn’t arrive. This is moving, enlightening and emotional. The observations are very acute you can nearly feel them. This is a very different book and one which I would recommend.
