I loved this book! I have never read a book in verse before so I wasn't sure what to expect but I was immediately drawn in and couldn't put it down. I love stories about sisters and their complicated relationships and this didn't disappoint. Because of the writing style the book really makes you think and try to fill in the gaps yourself. The various feelings of grief and questions that can never be answered really come across well. As well as the main theme of the girls finding out about each other there are a lot of other points eg. About homophobia and white priveledge which aren't dwelt on by the author but get you thinking and imagining the characters lives. I really liked the ending and was left wanting more. I really want to know what is next for Yahaira and Camino!
