When I read the description of this book I wasn't sure, it's not normally the type of book I go for and I was worried that by having the main detective a woman it was going to end up being full of cliches. It wasn't.
The characters were interesting and the story started straight away, we're given some background information on the main characters but we know that more information is to come which is intriguing. While the central plot of the stolen phone is a little overdone the characters are fresh and I can see that there is potential for this story to be a bit different, with twists to come.
