From the blurb I've been putting off reading this First Impression as it sounded dreadful. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised when I started reading it, it's nowhere near as bad as I thought it was going to be. That said the physical descriptions in it are atrocious - particularly of Valencia - but are at least not limited to female characters.
Seems a decent start and I am interested in reading more which is a step in the right direction.
