The book starts by telling us about a little accident, a boy (fresh into the real-law-firm-corporate job market) manages to get his phone stolen at rush hour.. Only, the phone is no password-protected, he is also carrying a lot of really important information... etc (really!!?). Is this a stupid (and CARELESS) accident, or is he involved?. In order to follow the chase for the lost phone, the top-notch of the law firm and an ex-CIA agent join forces, in order to solve this mess.
The book is intriguing from the beginning, it makes the reader question a lot of things, what is the case about? how bad can the missed documents be? who is this super bad-ass hero detective? Is this kid having the worst day of his life, or did he participate in a plot to get his own company in trouble?
I find the rhythm of the book properly thought off, the events flow effortlessly, and one can't really put the book down without all the answers! Furthermore, I find it extremely important to mention that both, the company head executive and the ex-CIA detective are strong powerful female leads, and I am in here for this.. to show that women have their own complicated inner thought processes, motives, and skills way past their love interests!
I can't wait to get my hands around this book.. and I'd recommend anyone in need for an exciting weekend (inside) adventure to go for it too!
