Well for starters this isn't really my kind of genre. However, reading the blurb I thought it sounded interesting. The cover doesn't attract me very much, it's maybe a little nondescript, doesn't give much of a hint to the story other than it's set in the city. The last part of the blurb made me look further "connections between corporations, government and the underworld". That is what made me think I might like this book.
There are a lot of characters even in the first chapter, so I'm thinking this is a book where you would really have to concentrate, maybe even take a few notes but having read the excerpt I'd say, yes I would like to read more of this. I think Valencia might prove to be a really irritating person but that's OK, sometimes its good to have a character you love to dislike.
