I liked the look of this book. The cover looked modern and I liked the cityscape scene. My first impression before reading the blurb was that it looked to be set in an American city, possibly New York because of the skyscrapers and I associate that kind of building with that city. Sure enough, on reading the synopsis, it was set in New York. I do love a good thriller and one of my favourite authors is John Grisham and this book reminds me of that type of novel so I'd love to get my hands on a copy and see whether it lives up to his books. I like the fact that the main character is a woman as you see a lot of these types of novels with male leads so I think its refreshing to see a woman as the lead character. On a lighter note, Clean Hands is a good title to have as well in these days of having to wash your hands during the pandemic!
