The first few pages of a book can reveal a lot and the few few pages of this book had me hooked. It’s a simple concept but yet I wanted to know more, I wanted to read on. I found myself becoming invested in the narrative and was frustrated when I couldn’t continue reading on. Not bad for a first impression!
