Clean hands is a financial thriller with lots of twists and turns and a cast of interesting characters. Elizabeth Carlyle is working on a big case defending a bank accused of fraud, when one of her associates, Chris Cowley, is pick pocketed and his phone is taken with documents of the case on. She calls on Valencia Walker an ex CIA officer but although she finds the missing phone the documents have been copied. Then follows blackmail and leaking to the press and meeting loads of interesting characters including dirty lawyers, black market traders and Russian criminals. The book is fast paced and full of twists and turns that you are not sure how it is going to end. It kept me gripped to the end.
