I really enjoyed this.
A rollercoaster of a ride from start to finish. I loved all the police jargon and different agencies being involved.
I would love this to become a series and have more about Valencia in the future.
It also made me think about the cut throat world of lawyers within the American justice system and how that all works.
One of the only things I didn’t like as much was all the acronyms used not just in the police speak but also in the lawyer arena.
I did feel very sorry for Chris though as he seemed to just be a pawn in the game of more important and influential people. Did not like how his story ended.
I did feel like some of the aspects of this book were left hanging so as previously stated I would love this to be the first in a series - so we can tie up loose ends and see more of these characters.
Excellent book and I would definitely read more by this author.
