Elizabeth Carlyle works in corporate law, under strain working on a high-stakes case, defending a prominent bank that's been accused of fraud. She receives the news that a junior colleague has lost his phone with the secret documents that were on it so she needs help. CIA officer Valencia Walker is called in to help, you don't mess with her, she solves problems. The trouble is, there's a hitch as when the missing phone is retrieved: the documents are already copied, and now they're blackmailing the firm. It's interesting to read the story line as it develops with documents appearing in the press and a tragic suicide that appears staged, this is adds to the mystery. Elizabeth and Valencia must work as a team, one step ahead at all times.
