My first impressions are that I feel I have mixed emotions. I feel very intrigued about how the story ends, i.e. can Jubilee Jenkins ever find love and have a relationship, or does her disease mean that she definitely cannot?
I also feel sad because if the latter means she can't have a relationship, then I feel sorry for her that she won't be able to.
I'm also excited to understand about her disease, how she has it and why can't she touch another human, and to actually understand about her life and how she has coped with it.
The cover of the book is very appealing, fresh and colourful which makes me feel invited to read it. It also makes me think that it will have a happy ending as if it didn't maybe the cover, would be a dark colours, i.e. red, black, grey.
