The story starts by showing you a newspaper article about Jubilee Jenkins, someone with an extremely rare allergy: an allergy to other people. And if that's wasn't enough to draw you in, we get introduced to Jubilee. We quickly learn that she is living in her mother's house alone after her mother left to be with some guy. We also learn that her mother is wasn't very affectionate with her and Jubilee only gets a check every month through the post so she can paid for bills and food. This all changes when she finds out her mother has died and now has no money to carry on living in the house 24-7 (like she has done for the past 9 years!!).
So Jubilee has to go outside for the first time in nine years and find a job. She managed to get job at the local library. This is where she meets Eric......
The story is split telling the story both of Jubilee and Eric. I love both these characters. I spent the whole time throughout the book rooting for them. A truly unputdownable romantic story that is just brilliant!!!
