The cover of this book was what initially appealed to me. It's really striking and the little blurb about nearly dying really pulled me in. The character of Jubilee, while not being relatable, is an intriguing character with a really interesting background story. I've only read the first impression so far and am starting to already wonder how the character of Eric and Jubilee will intertwine. Eric's character is also a character that draws me in and is both numerous and demands sympathy at the same time.
Jubilee's condition I found really interesting and was really intriguing to imagine how the book was going to continue and what she is going to do after the death of her mother. Will definitely look forward to buying this book!
