I thoroughly enjoyed this novel, it was like a breath of fresh air to read such a unique plot with such relatable characters. In close enough to touch we meet the main character Jubilee who has the unfortunate allergy of human touch and, as a result, has somewhat locked herself away from the rest of the world in fear, finding comfort in her isolation and surrounding herself with books to get lost in rather than have to deal with daily life.
This book was hilarious as so genuinely lovely to read, the chemistry between the main characters was so sweet and the way they seemed to bounce off of each other was so magical. Each of the characters within the novel had their own unique quirks which I really enjoyed and made the characters more people like and relatable. The author has done a fantastic job with this book and I know that it'll be one that I rave about for years to come!
