When I say I am allergic to people, I mean I get irritated by them very easily, but for Jubilee Jenkins, this is an actual condition. She could die only by being touched by another person.
The first chapter introduced Jubilee as an introverted person, who hasn't left her house in 9 years after an incident at school, when a boy kissed her and she almost died.
