This book follows a woman with a rare disease: she is allergic to human touch. She has to avoid human contact of any kind, which includes even just drinking from the same glass as somebody else. After an embarrassing incident at school when she was younger, Jubilee Jenkins became a recluse and barely ventured outside of her house. But after her mother dies, Jubilee has to find a way to support herself financially, and this means finding employment.
I liked the idea of this story and it was an easy read. However, the ending felt a little bit rushed and in my opinion didn't tie up all of the loose ends that it needed to.
Despite the rushed ending, I kind of enjoyed this book and would recommend it.
