This is not my normal choice of book but the preview got me interested. Jubilee Jenkins is allergic to people. Following a bad experience as a teen she has become a recluse but now she needs to move past her fears and live a proper life.
With a lovely romance plot, a found family and a smooth writing style this was a fun and emotional read let down only by the epilogue which turned all progress on its rad as far as I was concerned and cost the book a star.
I especially liked the side character of Madison and how she was the ‘perfect’ mum who pushes herself forward. I’d also love to see more form Aja as he grows up, what happened why did he keep in touch but Jubilee an his dad didn’t?
This was a book read in a day as I fell for the characters but once you know where it goes not one for rereading.
