A nice summer read
The first impression was that is was a 'standard' chick lit novel, but rather than a 20-something woman there is a 40-something woman.
She has just split up from her boyfriend in the US and came back to the UK to lick her wounds. She rented a room in a house with a man and his dog, and celebrates her 40-something birthday alone.
Unless the formula is drastically different I imagine by the end she will have everything sorted.
Written well, and could be a fun, light read.
