I really enjoyed this extract. It was quick and easy to read. I felt like I knew the protagonist instantly and couldn't wait to see what would happen to her next. I liked that it is focused around a single forty year old as that is something that doesn't happen a lot in literature.
The cover was also really vibrant- it would definitely catch my eye in a shop!
